Never be ‘normal’ when you can be fun

A long time coming

So I thought it was about time that I started to share my thoughts and experiences around mental health.

I’ve spent a lot of time loosing myself over the years and then finding myself again. Experiencing OCD, Depression, Dermatillomania and likely Aspergers (to add 100 labels!) you could say I’ve ridden the scary train a few times and lived to tell the tale.

If there’s one thing my life has taught me it’s that there are those in this world that understand mental health or are at least willing to, and those that just don’t get it. This blog is for all those people, understanding or not. Curiosity is what keeps this world moving forward. I hope that my scribblings will make you curious enough to want to learn more.

Limits do exist but only when you let them

You are not what you have and mental health does not determine who you are.

Never allow someone to define you by words alone. Language was never created to describe a person's soul, and it never will.
